Bishop International Airport
Bishop International Airport is a modern transportation
hub that is the third fastest growing commercial airport
in the United States serving nearly a half million passengers
a year. The airport also has significant intermodal air
freight facilities that handles 30 million pounds of freight
a year.
Currently Bishop
International Airport is undergoing a $33 million expansion
of the freight facilities. The project is expected to be
completed in late 2008 early 2009. The new project is expected

Mass Transportation Authority
The Mass Transportation Authority (MTA) serves the region with a nationally-recognized public transportation system. It provides both fixed and flexible transit services to resident throughout the county, including regional service to work-related destinations in several surrounding counties.
